There is Only One Right Way

Over the years we have received a number of different questions regarding roofing systems and our services. If you have a question not on this list, please feel free to contact us at any time.

Question: What are the signs my roof needs repair?

  • You notice a stain on the wall or ceiling.

  • Paint is bubbling on the walls.

  • You find a piece of a shingle in your yard.

  • You see that the roof looks curled up.

If you notice any of the above, contact a certified roofing contractor. Unfortunately, roof leaks do not resolve on their own. Despite the outward appearance, once a leak appears it will continue seeping while water is slowly rotting the plywood and rafters, allowing mold to form in attic and wall spaces, encouraging insect infestations and attracting animals.

Question: Will you call us before you start work?

Every effort is made to keep everyone informed of our schedule. However, on occassion, we may begin work sooner or later than tentatively scheduled. Many things impact our schedule, such as:

  • Location

  • Weather

  • Type of work

  • Job and crew size

Every effort is made to contact our customers ahead of schedule. Please just let us know if you have any special requests.

Question: What about my yard? Will you damage the grass, shrubs or driveway?

Like most construction projects, roofing requires special equipment and results in discarded materials. While it is impossible to guarantee that a yard or driveway will be completely unaffected, we take pride in keeping our service areas neat and clean of debris so that we can both ensure your saftey and protect your property.

Question: Does someone need to be home while the workmen are at my house?

No. While we welcome our customers involvement, we are fully equipped to indepedently complete your project. However, it's always good to remember that this is noisy work - you may not want to be home!

Question: How many workers can I expect ?

Our crew depends upon the complexity of a project. Typically, you can expect 3-7 workers.

Question: My roof is being torn off and replaced. Will I experience any leakage during the project?

Our crew is trained to be prepared for unpredictable weather. We will never tear off a roof and leave it completely unprotected. It is standard proceedure to install new underlayment felt and/or cover an area with tarps before completeing work for the day.
